Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Embedding Studio, the hosted service at studio.embedding.in, provided by Embedding Space Private Limited, a company incorporated in India under the Companies Act, 2013, registered office at Kizhakke Veedu, Pilicode, Near PCKR Kalasamithi, Pilicode, Hosdurg, Kasargod 671310, Kerala, India By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.

What the service is

Embedding Studio fits a decision model to cases you upload, measures the result on held-back rows, and serves the fitted model behind an API. It returns typed answers with calibrated probabilities, and it is allowed to return no answer when nothing clears the threshold measured on your own data. It does not write prose and it is not a general purpose chatbot.

Your account

You sign in with a supported identity provider. You are responsible for what happens under your account and your API keys, and for keeping those keys secret. A key that leaks can spend your credit; rotate it from the dashboard and write to us if you need help.

Credits and pricing

The service is prepaid. New workspaces receive a trial credit of ten US dollars, which has no cash value and cannot be withdrawn or transferred. Decisions are charged per request at the price shown on your billing screen at the time of the request. We may change prices; a change never applies retroactively to credit already spent. Refunds of purchased credit are covered by the refund policy.

Your data and your models

The cases you upload remain yours. We use them to fit and calibrate your own project and for nothing else. We do not train language models on your data. The calibration file your fit produces is yours to download and keep, and it continues to work with the open source engine on your own hardware even if you stop using the service.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to break the law, to violate the rights of others, to probe or disrupt infrastructure that is not yours, or to upload data you have no right to process. Automated decisions about people carry legal duties in many jurisdictions; you are responsible for meeting the ones that apply to you, including keeping a human in the loop where the law requires one.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available and honest about its state, but it is provided as is, without a guaranteed service level. We may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will give reasonable notice, your calibrations remain downloadable until the end of that notice, and unused purchased credit is refunded.

Disclaimers and liability

A calibrated model is still a statistical system. Coverage guarantees hold in aggregate on data that looks like what was calibrated on, not for any single answer, and they degrade when your traffic drifts. You are responsible for the decisions you automate. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Termination

You can stop at any time and delete your workspace. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms, after notice where that is reasonable. Any calibration you have already downloaded is unaffected by termination.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Kasargod, Kerala have jurisdiction, subject to any law that gives you a different forum.

Changes to these terms

When we change these terms we update the date at the top, and for material changes we notify account holders by email before the change takes effect.
